As a Deals - Financial Due Diligence Director you will lead strategic diligence work for clients pursuing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, with a focus on financial analysis, quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and key transaction issues. As a Director you will set direction, drive business growth, shape client engagements, and coach future leaders while upholding our values, brand, and commercial mindset. In this role at PwC, you will guide multiple workstreams, bring together transaction insights from across the firm, and help clients evaluate value and risk within our Deals practice.
Responsibilities
- Leading financial due diligence engagements across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Analyzing earnings quality, balance sheet items, cash flow trends, and working capital to identify deal issues
- Directing financial statement review, modeling,
and valuation analysis to support transaction decisions
- Evaluating historical and forecast financial information to highlight risks, opportunities, and deal drivers
- Advising executive clients on transaction structuring, deal planning, and value creation considerations
- Overseeing engagement teams, setting priorities, and guiding delivery across multiple client projects
- Building relationships with clients and internal teams to advance business development and expand market opportunities
- Developing insights and recommendations that shape transaction strategy and support informed decision making
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating Financial Due Diligence experience across transactions
- Analyzing earnings quality, working capital, and cash flow trends
- Translating complex findings into clear client-ready recommendations
- Leading deal teams through multiple workstreams and timelines
- Developing market insights for growth opportunities and thought leadership
- Using advanced financial modeling and valuation analysis
