DescriptionPosition SummaryThis position is responsible for support of General Ledger, specifically for month end /yead end closing, account reconciliations and analysis, and financial reporting.Essential FunctionsAccount reconciliations ranging from bank reconciliations to customer rebates reconciliations and analysisMonth-end/year end close activities including journal entries, corporate reporting and rollover of balancesInter and intracompany eliminations, reporting and reconciliationsSAP month end processing including assessments, allocations,



and foreign exchange valuation.IFRS reporting packages preparationCommunicate to central finance team on status of monthly closing including the preparation and submission of SEM German GAAP reportingLead posting of freight activity and re-allocation of freight expensesAssist other areas of finance with various projects and questionsAssist with KMPG (interim/final) audit requestsSpecial projects as assigned by managerKnowledgeKnowledge of GAAP/IFRS and deep understanding of account reconciliations, accounting principles and procedures.Experience1-4+ years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment.SAP or other ERP experience strongly preferred.SkillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
