moderna seeks a senior manager of finance for its mexico operations to serve as both finance lead and authorized legal representative. responsibilities

- act as authorized legal representative for moderna mexico with power of attorney and e-firma custody
- co-lead tax registration, filings, and communications with mexican tax and labor authorities
- oversee monthly accounting obligations, bank reconciliations, and statutory financial reporting
- coordinate payroll processing, social security filings, and employer obligation compliance




- establish and manage local banking relationships and enforce internal controls over payments and approvals

requirements

- strong expertise in mexican tax, accounting, and statutory compliance frameworks
- experience as authorized legal representative or similar regulatory compliance role
- proficiency with mexican government systems including sat, imss, and customs processes
- advanced knowledge of payroll, social security, and labor-related finance operations
- demonstrated ability to manage banking relationships and treasury controls
- fluency in english and spanish; ability to interface with government authorities and senior stakeholders
