equipment maintenance technician position supporting manufacturing operations at intuitive surgical's mexicali facility. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex automation and production equipment across mechanical and electrical disciplines to maximize line uptime.
responsibilities
- perform first-response troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues and maximize line uptime
- execute routine scheduled maintenance and repair services on manufacturing equipment
- document equipment events and maintenance activities in sap system
- assist engineering team with equipment testing, qualification activities, and performance improvements
- participate in safety training and report faulty or suspicious equipment conditions
requirements
- technical certificate in electronics, mechanics, or equivalent field
- demonstrated troubleshooting experience with electronic and mechanical equipment
- blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- knowledge of pneumatics, electro valves, cylinders, and gauges
- working proficiency with electronics components, multimeters, soldering equipment
- english language skills at 30% level (reading, written, spoken)
- experience with mechanical tools, calipers, micrometers, and hand/power tools
