Material Planning & Control EngineerTijuana, Baja California, MexicoPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Material Planning & Control Engineer to join our Supply Chain team. This position is responsible for ensuring material availability to support production requirements through effective material planning, inventory control, procurement coordination, and supply chain management.The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, and import/export operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute material planning strategies to support production requirements.Manage MRP planning activities and release demand forecasts.Generate procurement requirements for direct materials, MRO supplies, and spare parts.Monitor supplier delivery performance and conduct variance analysis.Establish and achieve inventory targets while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.Analyze inventory levels and implement improvement actions to optimize stock management.Prepare reports and data analysis using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Coordinate activities with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams.Support process improvement initiatives related to material flow, logistics flow,
