Shape Corp is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Querétaro, Mexico.
We are looking for a results-driven professional with experience in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and problem-solving within the automotive industry. This position will play a key role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes while supporting safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of Core Tools, PFMEA, APQP, Control Plans, and IATF 16949 requirements.
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing process optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
English proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with welding manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of robotic welding and welding quality standards.
IWS (International Welding Specialist) Certification preferred.
Experience supporting new launches and manufacturing process validations.
