Junior Graphic Designer
Remitbee · Remote · Full-time ·
This is an existing vacancy. We may use AI to screen or assess applicants.

The short version
You'll make the graphics, ads and short videos that Remitbee's marketing runs on — working from briefs by our Senior Designer, at volume, across a lot of channels at once. Social, paid ads, branding, print, and motion.
Our audience isn't a demographic. It's people across Canada sending money home, many of them newcomers building a life in a new country, usually sending to family, usually with something real at stake. Design for them has to work across languages, formats and cultural contexts — the same campaign might need to land for someone sending to India and someone sending to Ghana.
You'll also be one of the people figuring out how AI fits into our creative work. Midjourney, Firefly, Runway — testing them, finding where they actually help, and telling the team what you learned. That's a real part of the job, not a side interest.
Being straight about the shape of it: this is a high-volume production role.

You're executing briefs more often than writing them, and a lot of the week is resizing, adapting and shipping. If you want to learn commercial design fast with a senior designer to learn from, that's a strong place to be. If you want to own creative direction, that's not this job yet.

What you'll own
Social, ads and campaign graphics. Produced from briefs, adapted into the sizes, formats and languages each channel needs.
Short-form video and motion. Editing for social channels and ads — Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, whatever gets it shipped.
AI tooling for the creative team. Exploring what's out there, testing it on real work, adopting what earns its place, and sharing what you find. This is the part most likely to get squeezed when the queue is full — it's worth protecting.
Print-ready materials and brand consistency. Flyers, banners, event collateral. Applying the Remitbee brand and helping it evolve. Keepi
