The team you will be a part of

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices.



Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary

Execution and support of the North American region (NAR) purchasing strategy for the Steel commodity, specifically the Mexico operations. This will include managing daily operations, leading productivity or Engineering and Technology projects, and supporting supplier relationships to achieve cost, quality and delivery performance.

Your responsibilities will include

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Managing suppliers to improve cost, quality and delivery performance

• Execution or support of supply agreements

• Leading cross functional teams to execute Engineering and Technology projects

• Identifying and leading cost-reduction efforts

• Supporting monthly forecast activities

• Leading or supporting supply operations risks

• Responsible for all RFQs for Whirlpool Mexico
