This is a six-month contract

Kambda is seeking experienced Senior Data and Analytics Engineers to join our team and work on an exciting project for one of our valued clients in the United States.

Kambda is located in Costa Rica, and we are primarily seeking candidates in a similar time zone to facilitate collaboration. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Required experience:
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery; Snowflake, Synapse, Fabric, or Redshift is also acceptable.
• Strong SQL and analytical modeling skills.
• Proficiency with dbt, Dataform, or similar tools.
• Dimensional modeling, governed data marts, reconciliation, and validation.
• Managed ELT pipelines using Fivetran or a comparable platform.




• Custom API extraction when packaged connectors are not enough.
• Working knowledge of AWS, including IAM, hosting, and secrets management.
• Ability to translate business questions into defensible metrics, formulas, grain definitions, and source mappings.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Plus
• Experience with finance or ERP integrations, data-access controls, EU data residency, and AI-assisted development is helpful.
