- Job Schedule Full timeResponsibilities- Schedule daily work orders for manual machining, CNC machining, wire EDM, grinding, heat‐treating, and die mounting, prioritizing projects accordingly.
- Manage the sourcing and procurement of specialty tool steels, raw materials, and standard components (bolts, bushings, springs) in collaboration with the purchasing department.
- Monitor and record workshop productivity, machine downtime, and tool‐tracking metrics to identify operational bottlenecks.
- Support die testing and first‐piece inspections by organizing programming slots in the production plant, thereby minimizing disruptions to the manufacturing flow.
- Maintain historical documentation of tools, change‐over records, and preventive maintenance logs to comply with regulations and facilitate continuous‐improvement audits.QualificationsEducation:- This position requires, at a minimum, an engineering degree or equivalent experience.Skills and Abilities:- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from management teams and clients.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as fundamentals of plane and spatial geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret diverse instructions presented in writing, orally, via diagrams, or in schedules.Experience:- This position requires a minimum of 2years of related experience.
