We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support key accounting and reporting activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.Support IFRS accounting and local GAAP requirements.Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and IFRS 16 activities.Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requests.Partner with Controllers, Finance Managers, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate financial results.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics.
+5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.Experience handling accounting for clients or operations in the United States.Knowledge of IFRS; local GAAP knowledge isa plus.SAP experience preferred.Strong Excel and communication skills.
