About the roleAs a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in securing the direct material supply that keeps our manufacturing plant running — balancing inventory, supplier delivery performance, and cost to support high-visibility projects across the business.



This role offers strong exposure across the organization and a clear path to grow into other areas of Supply Chain.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Buyer, you'll be responsible for: Ensuring direct material supply to support manufacturing continuity Monitoring inventory levels and coverage Following up on SOTD, ECN, ETO, E&O;, GRNI, and virtual processes Managing excess and obsolete inventory Negotiating deliveries with suppliers to meet demand, including in-person negotiations with suppliers based in China Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) Executing processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, and cost accountability Approving and qualifying vendors to meet account needs Authorizing purchase orders and approving payments Analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data to support pricing decisions Preparing and reviewing requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages
