Role Description The Senior Managing Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City, responsible for overseeing strategic operations, business development, and executive-level client relationships. This role leads multidisciplinary teams, sets performance targets, and ensures the delivery of high-quality HR and outplacement services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key accounts, guiding senior recruitment projects, developing growth strategies, and monitoring financial performance.

and maintain AMR’s leadership position in the market. The role also involves mentoring senior staff, representing the firm at industry events, and driving continuous improvement across all business functions.

Qualifications

- Proven senior leadership experience in Human Resources, executive search, consulting, or related professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage director- and management-level recruitment, outplacement programs, and complex client engagements.
- Strong strategic planning, business development, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.
- Familiarity with modern HR technologies, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage.
- Fluency in Spanish and strong proficiency in English; experience working in the Mexico City or broader Latin American market is preferred.
