Due to our exponential growth, we are looking for our next: Factoring Portfolio Manager Schedule: M-F 7 am - 4 pm The Portfolio Manager consistently demonstrates a positive and hardworking attitude, a continuous commitment to personal, organizational and process improvement and to build strong partnerships, one employee and one customer at a time, and by working in accordance with ELs COACHTeam core values. The Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in the overall success and health of our factoring portfolio. The Portfolio Manager manages a team of Customer Service Representatives and the processes that they fulfill in the A/R Financing Cycle to ensure processes are completed, in accordance to SOP. The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with credit, operations, collections, sales and various internal departments. The manager will also work to foster relationships with multiple clients with outstanding Client support while adhering to EL’s credit policies. O our idóneo candidate will be detail oriented, results driven and possess a positive hard-working attitude. Essential Functions and Results Expectations Meets department goals and activity metrics Promote and cross sell EL’s products and services to existing Clients Retain existing clients and manage the onboarding process of new clients Completion of a minimum of 25 Call Copy QAs and transaction audits Supervise a large team of Customer Service Representatives and the processes that they fulfill in the A/R Financing Cycle to ensure processes are completed, in accordance to SOP Analyze account trends, manage collateral, disburse funds, and manage customer availability. Essential Duties and Functions Actively engage in scheduling, planning and facilitating an effective one-on-one with my leader on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship and ensure the client adheres to current contract with a heavy focus on contract renewal Conduct one on one meetings with direct reports on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Proactively utilize Call Copy a performance review tool to seek and engage feedback from my leader. Ensure the team meets daily deadlines timely and accurately. Analyze and improve processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt Establishes and implements productivity goals and analyzes results. Analyze account trends and implement corrective action plans in accordance to these trends Hire, train and evaluate the team members within the operations department to ensure a sufficient number of team members are available to handle and manage workload. Project and Priority Management: Essential Behaviors Seek opportunities from Supervisor to increase skills and/or learn new aspects of the business. Develop and implement performance metrics and standards. Coach team members performance. Communicate with clients any issues as pertaining to their A/R and to build and maintain a strong working relationship Develop,implement,
and review operational policies and procedures Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company Requirements Ability to quickly learn software systems Ability to switch between risk focus and people focus depending on business needs. Ability to collect and analyze data, problem solve and make recommendations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat) Ability to manage multiple operating systems Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with accuracy goal oriented Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within the organization Passport/VISA or able to obtain one 2+ years management experience leading a team of 5 or more University or similar work experience 2+ years of Portfolio Management or Account Management Work Environment (Elements of the work setting, including key cultural elements in addition to those already noted.) Work with team members to handle client funding in accordance with deadline. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with Customer Service, Credit and Sales.
