Job Overview The BCS sub-vertical within the Industrial Business Unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Product Engineer II focusing on cable assembly product ownership, product lifecycle management, customer-driven engineering changes, and technical leadership for existing product families.
What your background should look like Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of experience in product engineering or cable assembly manufacturing.
Experience with wire harnesses, connectors, terminals, and cable assemblies.
Knowledge of product lifecycle and change management processes.
Experience leading technical projects.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of crimping, wire processing, cable preparation, and assembly operations.
Excellent communication skills.
English proficiency required.
Key Responsibilities
Own and support a portfolio of cable assembly products throughout the product lifecycle.




Lead engineering changes, product transfers, and qualification activities.
Drive cross-functional cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
Improve manufacturability, reliability, and product performance.
Coordinate qualification testing and customer approvals.
Support general manufacturing locations in technical issue resolution.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain product specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and customer teams.
Standardize cable assembly designs and manufacturing practices.
Support technical feasibility reviews and quotations.
