About this Position
Application engineer is responsible for providing technical support of semiconductor adhesive through intensive communication, application test and analysis with regional / global team and customers as well.
What You´ll Do
Application Engineer providing technical support for Henkel's electronics market materials product line (semiconductor).
Secure technology leadership in development and commercialization of products through material application process optimization and to directly communicate with customers to resolve product and process related issues.
Solve fundamental issues related to the entire product line and/or product family by developing new application processes, troubleshooting and characterizing materials.
Responsible for field testing using application and analysis equipment.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related field; Minimum of 1 year of experience in a semiconductor field is preferred
Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to successfully handle onsite support of complex customer issues
Excellent interpersonal skills in one-on-one communication with colleagues/customers as well as in group environments,
and the ability to work independently or multitask as a team member.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to complete projects and consistently deliver the highest level of quality based on a customer-centric mindset and a deep understanding of customer needs and culture.
Ability to formulate strong conclusions & path forward from project work.
