Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V.# Finance Analyst, IES Payments Finance## Job Description# Finance Analyst - Mexico Payments## About the RoleThe Finance Analyst will support Amazon's Mexico Payments business by focusing on financial planning, forecasting, and controllership activities. This role is crucial for building and maintaining Profit and Loss (P&L;) models across various payment products and programs. The analyst will support the month-end close and reconciliation processes, prepare variance analyses, and contribute to governance efforts like Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and Monthly Financial Reviews (MFRs).Collaboration is a key aspect of this position, as the analyst will work closely with teams in Product, Risk, Accounting, BizOps, and Compliance. The objective is to ensure data accuracy while delivering actionable insights on payment performance, cost of payments (COP), and payment mix optimization. This is an impactful role that directly influences financial decision-making within the organization.## Key Responsibilities- \*\*Financial Planning & Forecasting\*\*: Build and maintain P&L; models, support monthly and quarterly planning cycles, and perform variance analyses.- \*\*Business Partnering\*\*: Collaborate with Amazon Payments product and commercial teams to align financial and operational analyses, challenge assumptions, and facilitate data-driven decisions.- \*\*Controllership & Compliance\*\*: Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and processes to enhance finance controllership.- \*\*Strategic Analysis & Recommendations\*\*: Conduct financial analyses to identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements,
