Role Overview
The Production Planning Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the S&OP; plan is properly fulfilled and translated into an effective Master Production Schedule that supports customer requirements and incoming production volumes. This role ensures that critical capacity needs are identified, addressed, and communicated on time, including confirmation of headcount requirements and operational constraints. The position is also responsible for ensuring that work orders are properly managed in the ERP system to trigger accurate production signals, confirm component availability, secure finished goods inventory availability for critical distribution centers, and support reliable execution of the production plan. This role also ensures that ERP information remains accurate and updated to protect inventory visibility, order management integrity, and planning execution.
