Role DevOps Infrastructure as Code Engineer

Responsibilities

- Design implement and maintain secure CICD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code principles and reusable components
- Collaborate with developers QA engineers AI engineers integration specialists data engineers UXUI teams and security specialists
- Standardise build test security scanning release and deployment processes
- Develop reusable pipeline templates infrastructure modules deployment scripts and environment configurations
- Manage configuration across development testing staging and production environments
- Implement automated quality gates security checks approval controls and deployment validations
- Support containerised workload deployment and cloud native runtime environments
- Troubleshoot build failures deployment issues infrastructure defects network problems and environment inconsistencies
- Embed security controls into CICD and Infrastructure as Code workflows
- Support access controls secrets management vulnerability remediation patching and compliance requirements
- Implement monitoring logging alerting and operation alreadiness practices




- Maintain technical documentation runbooks configuration standards and recovery procedures
- Promote automation self service capabilities reliability and continuous improvement across engineering teams

To be successful in this role you should have

- 5 to 7 years of experience in DevOps cloud engineering platform engineering or infrastructure automation
- Strong hands on experience with CICD pipeline design and implementation
- Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to develop reusable and maintainable infrastructure modules and pipeline components
- Strong understanding of Git workflows automated testing releases deployment strategies and rollback mechanisms
- Knowledge of containerisation cloud native architecture environment management and configuration management
- Understanding of DevSecOps security scanning least privilege secrets management and policy compliance
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Ability to document infrastructure processes standards and operational procedures

Nice to have skills

- Hands on knowledge of Terraform
- Experience with AWS services Docker Kubernetes or managed container platforms
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins Azure DevOps or similar CICD tools
- Experience with observability tools automated compliance checks and policy as code
- Relevant AWS Terraform Kubernetes or DevOps certifications
