Facility Maintenance Manager – Automotive Industry | Monterrey, Reciente León

We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of plant facilities, utilities, and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead facility and utility maintenance activities, including electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, fire protection, and other critical infrastructure.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Plan maintenance budgets and control costs.
- Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, uptime, maintenance costs, and PM compliance.
- Manage contractors, vendors, service agreements, and maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead facility improvement, energy efficiency, TPM, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Manage and develop maintenance engineers, technicians, supervisors, and contractors.




- Support digital maintenance systems such as SAP PM / CMMS .

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in facility maintenance, plant engineering, or utilities management.
- 3–5+ years in a managerial role.
- Experience within the automotive manufacturing industry .
- Strong knowledge of facility and utility systems, preventive/predictive maintenance, RCA, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and energy management.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of SAP PM / CMMS .
- English communication skills are desirable.
