The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.

Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a purchasing organization covering direct buyers, indirect buyers, import/export and services procurement

(~10 direct reports).

- Own and improve

OTIF performance for critical materials and high-volume components (fasteners, parts, assemblies, etc.).

- Build and execute purchasing strategies to reduce total cost

, including customs duties/costs

, logistics cost, and supplier pricing.

- Ensure smooth execution of the full purchasing cycle

- Manage general supplier relationships and lead times; coordinate with logistics/forwarders/brokers for imports and exports.





- Guarantee compliance in trade operations (documentation, customs processes, supplier paperwork, Incoterms alignment).

Qualifications

- 8+ years in Purchasing / Supply Chain within manufacturing environments (preferably metal-mechanics, machinery, large-scale manufacturing or project-driven operations).

- 3+ years managing purchasing teams and working directly with top management.

- Strong hands-on experience in customs, import/export, international logistics

(ocean/air), and material planning.

- Preferred background from industrial machinery equipment companies
