Head of People & Culture – Shared Services Center (Confidential)
We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Head of People & Culture to lead the Human Resources function for a Shared Services Center within a manufacturing-driven organization.
The purpose of this role is to create and sustain a work environment that enables employees to learn, grow, and perform at a high level, while ensuring full compliance with labor legislation and alignment with general HR standards. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and acts as a key business partner to senior leadership.
You will lead the local People & Culture team and oversee all HR-related matters, including labor relations, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, HR analytics, employer branding, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement company-specific labor relations procedures and documentation, including organizational structures, employee handbook, and internal work procedures, in collaboration with HR specialists.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations; stay up to date with legal changes and manage HR-related legal matters, including behavioral standards and disciplinary actions.
- Lead and support the annual performance evaluation and salary review processes at SSC level, working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Managers.
- Continuously improve HR processes and services,
acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and providing expert guidance on people-related matters.
- Partner with department leaders to design and implement soft skills training and people development initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Actively support managers and team leaders in employee relations issues, providing coaching, mediation, and direct intervention when required.
- Ensure the effective integration of global HR policies, tools, and processes within the Shared Services Center.
- Lead workforce planning activities together with SSC leadership, including annual labor cost planning and forecasting.
- Define and execute the recruitment strategy for the SSC; directly manage the hiring of senior and key positions.
- Develop and strengthen the employer branding strategy to respond effectively to local labor market challenges.
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing insights and advisory on the local labor market.
- Oversee and manage external HR vendors, including payroll, recruitment agencies, consulting firms, and training providers.
- Support the creation of new roles and the transfer of functions through market analysis and HR consulting.
- Manage HR-related budgets (salaries, benefits, training,
and employer branding) in alignment with the Managing Director.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in Human Resources, including leadership of large or multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments (industrial, FMCG, packaging, automotive, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices within highly regulated environments.
- Experience supporting or leading HR operations within Shared Services Centers is highly desirable.
- Fluent English required, with the ability to interact effectively with global stakeholders.
