About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Airbnb Interior Design & Staging Specialist to oversee the design and staging of short-term rental properties in the US market.

The idóneo candidate will have proven experience designing Airbnb or vacation rental properties, a strong portfolio of completed projects, and the ability to remotely coordinate furniture sourcing, procurement, and staging execution with local vendors and teams.

This role requires a balance of creative design expertise, practical decision-making, and project management skills to create visually appealing, functional, and guest-ready spaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop interior design concepts tailored to Airbnb and short-term rental properties.
- Create staging plans that align with US market trends, guest expectations, and property positioning.
- Recommend furniture, décor, layouts, color palettes, lighting, and accessories to enhance the guest experience.
- Source and coordinate the procurement of furniture, décor, and essential property supplies.
- Collaborate remotely with local vendors, contractors, and staging teams to execute design plans.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and staging milestones to ensure timely completion.




- Review completed staging projects and provide feedback for final adjustments.
- Maintain consistent design standards and concepts across multiple properties.
- Optimize spaces for functionality, guest comfort, and attractive Airbnb listing photography.

Requirements

- Proven experience in interior design and staging for Airbnb, vacation rentals, or short-term rental properties.
- A portfolio showcasing completed Airbnb or STR design projects is required.
- Experience working with the US short-term rental market is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with furniture, décor, and home accessory sourcing.
- Proven ability to manage remote staging projects and coordinate with local execution teams.
- Strong understanding of Airbnb guest expectations, property presentation, and listing appeal.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving abilities.
