Role Overview The Junior IT Finance Analyst – entry level will support the IT Finance team through data analysis, investigation, reconciliation, documentation, and day-to-day problem solving. The role is suited to an early-career professional who is comfortable working with data, learning new systems and business processes, and collaborating with technical and business teams in an international environment.

Key Accountabilities:

- Analyze and reconcile data across reports, systems, and datasets to identify discrepancies and support business questions.
- Use SQL and Excel to investigate issues, validate results, and provide clear findings to stakeholders.
- Perform structured root cause analysis (RCA), identifying underlying causes, contributing factors,



and appropriate follow-up actions.
- Support incident and issue investigation, tracking items through to resolution and communicating progress when needed.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for requirements, processes, analysis, findings, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams while continuously learning new tools, systems, and processes.

Skills and Experience

- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to participate in meetings and write clear emails and documentation; B1/B2 Level.
- Intermediate SQL knowledge, including SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, aggregate functions, CASE WHEN, subqueries, and CTEs.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including filters, sorting, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF, PivotTables, basic formulas, and dataset reconciliation.
- Data analysis skills with the ability to investigate mismatches, identify discrepancies, determine likely causes, and document conclusions clearly.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills with a structured approach to identifying underlying causes rather than only addressing symptoms.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to explain technical or analytical findings clearly.

Additional Valuable Skills

- Basic accounting or finance knowledge is preferred.
- Basic Python knowledge is preferred, including syntax, variables, data types, conditional statements, loops, scripts, and functions.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot is preferred, including using them to troubleshoot errors, structure investigations, summarize documentation, and learn new concepts.



Ability to validate AI-generated answers and results rather than relying on them without verification.
