Description and Requirements

Role Summary

The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for leading asset management activities for customers undergoing insolvency events, supporting deal pricing activities, and driving strategic projects across the Asset Management function. This role focuses on protecting the company's asset interests, maximizing recovery outcomes, supporting transaction profitability, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the Asset Management lead on customers in administration, receivership, liquidation, bankruptcy, or similar insolvency proceedings.




- Engage with administrators, insolvency practitioners, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to protect the company's ownership rights and maximize asset recovery.
- Manage asset recovery activities, including asset location, collection, condition assessment, data sanitization, redeployment, and remarketing.
- Analyze and monitor loss-given-default (LGD) and recovery outcomes, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Serve as a backup to the Pricing function by supporting transaction pricing, financial modeling, and profitability analysis.
- Conduct residual value research and support scenario analysis across technology asset categories, including PCs, servers, storage, and AI/GPU equipment.
- Lead and deliver Asset Management projects, including process automation, AI initiatives, portfolio analytics, data quality improvements, and remarketing enhancements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and business performance.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Asset Management, Equipment Leasing, Asset Finance, Commercial Finance, Asset Recovery, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing insolvency, bankruptcy, restructuring, recovery, or remarketing activities.
- Experience with financial analysis,



pricing, deal structuring, and asset valuation.
- Strong understanding of leasing, asset finance, and residual value management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Credit, Legal, Operations, Sales, and external stakeholders.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project management abilities.

Preferred

- Experience in the technology leasing or IT asset management industry.
- Knowledge of PPSR, UCC filings, or similar security registration frameworks.
- Experience with AI, automation, process improvement, and data analytics initiatives.
