Job Summary:
We are looking for a Sr. Engineer – ASME with strong experience in pressure vessel design, engineering calculations, material selection, and ASME Code compliance. The engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, reviewing, and supporting the certification of pressure-containing equipment to ensure compliance with applicable ASME standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and certify pressure-containing equipment to ensure safe operation under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
- Perform engineering design and calculations for pressure vessels and related equipment.
- Apply ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements during design and engineering activities.
- Review engineering drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and code compliance.
- Understand pressure vessel materials and perform appropriate material selection.
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support testing and validation activities for pressure-containing equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
- Resolve technical issues related to design, calculations, materials, and code compliance.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code .
- Experience with pressure vessel design and calculations .
- Understanding of pressure vessel materials and material selection .
- Ability to perform engineering design and analysis .
- Experience with drawing review and technical documentation .
- Knowledge of code compliance and certification requirements .
- Experience with testing and validation .
- Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
Additional Information:
- This is an onsite position in Coahuila, Mexico .
- The selected candidate will initially travel to Staunton, VA, USA for approximately 3 months of training .
- Following the training period, the candidate will work onsite in Coahuila, Mexico.
- Contract duration is expected to be 6–12 months .
