Overview

We are seeking a Principal Network Architect to lead enterprise network strategy, architecture, and modernization initiatives across a large, complex environment. This individual will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for designing scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions while guiding major transformation efforts.

The adecuado candidate combines deep hands-on Cisco expertise with the ability to drive long-term architecture strategy, influence technical decisions, and collaborate with executive and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Define enterprise network architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Develop modernization roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and major network initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership for complex implementations, migrations, and transformation projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
- Ensure network solutions are secure, scalable, highly available, and operationally sustainable.
- Lead RFPs, technology evaluations, and vendor selection processes.




- Establish technical requirements and evaluate proposed solutions against business needs.
- Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, and application teams.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers and architects.
- Support root cause analysis and long-term remediation strategies for critical network issues.

Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- 8+ years of network architecture and design experience.
- Extensive experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco ACI, Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), Cisco SDA, and enterprise wireless technologies.
- Strong expertise in LAN, WAN, data center networking, cloud connectivity, and network security.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise network architectures.
- Proven ability to lead senior-level technical discussions and influence architecture decisions.
- Experience leading vendor evaluations, RFPs, and technology selection initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining technically hands-on.
