Responsibilities

- Manage the complete procurement cycle, including requisitions, purchase orders, order follow-up, receipt of goods, and final payment processing.
- Analyze SAP demand requirements and generate purchase orders based on current and future demand.
- Execute SAP system messages related to pull-ins, push-outs, shortages, and order cancellations.
- Review demand forecasts and waterfall analysis to identify future demand fluctuations and trends.
- Maintain uninterrupted flow of materials and services to support production requirements.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, delivery terms, warranties, and service agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance.
- Drive inventory reduction initiatives while ensuring On-Time Delivery (OTD) commitments are met.
- Support cost reduction efforts related to freight, tooling, and material purchases.
- Monitor and improve key supply chain metrics, including: Inventory levels Customer OTD Supplier OTD / Open Orders Performance MRBR (Blocked Invoice Reports)
- Support ECN (Engineering Change Notices)



and NPI (New Product Introduction) implementation activities.
- Report any nonconforming or suspected nonconforming products according to quality requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar Buyer Planner, Purchasing, or Supply Chain role.
- Strong experience in: Purchasing and sourcing, Supplier management and negotiations, Inventory management, Demand planning, ERP systems
- Advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (80% English proficiency minimum).
