Job Overview The BCS sub-vertical within the Industrial Business Unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Product Engineer II focusing on cable assembly product ownership, product lifecycle management, customer-driven engineering changes, and technical leadership for existing product families.

What Your Background Should Look Like

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in product engineering or cable assembly manufacturing.
- Experience with wire harnesses, connectors, terminals, and cable assemblies.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle and change management processes.
- Experience leading technical projects.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of crimping, wire processing, cable preparation, and assembly operations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English proficiency required.

Key Responsibilities





- Own and support a portfolio of cable assembly products throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead engineering changes, product transfers, and qualification activities.
- Drive cross-functional cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
- Improve manufacturability, reliability, and product performance.
- Coordinate qualification testing and customer approvals.
- Support general manufacturing locations in technical issue resolution.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain product specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and customer teams.
- Standardize cable assembly designs and manufacturing practices.
- Support technical feasibility reviews and quotations.
