Remote Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal — U.S. Law Firm
Location: Mexico — 100% Remote
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $12.00–$16.00 USD per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Arizona Time

Citrine Law, a highly rated Personal Injury and Criminal Defense law firm based in Yuma, Arizona, is seeking an experienced bilingual Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team remotely from Mexico.
We are looking for an experienced litigation professional who can step into an active Arizona litigation caseload and contribute quickly. The idóneo candidate has experience working with a U.S. law firm and understands litigation deadlines, discovery, pleadings, court filings, case management, and attorney support.
Prior experience with Arizona civil litigation and the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure is highly preferred. While Arizona experience is not an absolute requirement, candidates with direct Arizona litigation experience will receive strong preference.
Compensation
$12.00–$16.00 USD per hour
Compensation will depend on demonstrated litigation experience, Arizona/U.S. civil procedure knowledge, drafting ability, English proficiency, and ability to independently manage litigation responsibilities.
Candidates with substantial Arizona Personal Injury litigation experience and the ability to step into the role with minimal training may qualify toward the higher end of the range.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience required
- Experience supporting a U.S. law firm required
- Arizona civil litigation experience highly preferred
- Experience with the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure highly preferred
- Personal Injury litigation experience strongly preferred
- Fluent professional English and Spanish required
- Strong legal drafting and written English skills
- Experience with pleadings, discovery, disclosure statements, court filings, and litigation deadlines
- Exceptional computer, organizational, and document-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and proactively without constant supervision
- Comfortable communicating directly with U.S. attorneys and clients
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
We are specifically looking for someone who understands litigation and can hit the ground running. You should be able to review a case,
understand where it is in the litigation process, identify upcoming deadlines and outstanding work, and help move the case forward without waiting for an attorney to identify every next step. Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation & Legal Document Preparation
- Draft complaints, motions, subpoenas, disclosure statements, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other litigation documents for attorney review
- Prepare documents using firm-approved templates
- Assist attorneys throughout all phases of Personal Injury litigation
- Handle electronic filing of pleadings and other court documents
- Track and calendar litigation deadlines
- Assist with discovery and document production
- Organize exhibits, witness lists, deposition materials, and digital trial binders
- Request and organize medical records, police reports, insurance information, and other case-related documents
- Ensure filings and case activity comply with applicable court rules and deadlines
Digital Case Management
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files in Clio Manage
- Update case statuses, litigation tracking spreadsheets, and internal case lists
- Ensure cases progress through established phases and KPIs
- Maintain strict digital naming conventions and document protocols
- Document case activity and client communications in Clio
- Maintain attorney Questions, Comments & Concerns (QCC) tracking
- Maintain and update digital Personal Injury litigation binders
- Track case costs and coordinate financial information with our bookkeeping team
Client Communication We believe in providing our clients with White Glove service, regardless of whether a team member works in our office or remotely.
Responsibilities include
- Regular communication with clients by phone, text, email, and video
- Providing case updates and gathering information needed for litigation
- Responding to client communications promptly
- Participating in client meetings via Zoom with camera on when needed
- Coordinating settlement-related documentation and payments
- Maintaining accurate records of client contact
Attorney Support & Calendaring
- Participate in weekly case strategy meetings with attorneys via Zoom
- Manage litigation deadlines and attorney calendars
- Schedule depositions, hearings, meetings, and other case-related events
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Provide proactive and anticipatory support to attorneys
Technology Candidates must be highly comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new systems.

Remote Work Requirements
Candidates must maintain

- Ability to participate professionally in video meetings
- Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Arizona Time
