About the Role

We are looking for an SAP FICO Consultant, with a strong focus on Financial Close processes, to support a finance transformation project involving the migration of financial close activities from BlackLine to OneStream.

The role will focus on Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Close, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, financial controls, and related SAP Finance activities. You will work closely with integral Finance, SAP, OneStream, Integration, and Automation teams to analyze current processes, troubleshoot issues, and support the transition to the new Financial Close environment.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and support Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Financial Close processes in SAP, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and variance analysis.
- Provide technical-functional expertise across SAP FI/CO, SAP ECC, and/or SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on financial closing and reporting activities.
- Analyze financial data, dependencies, and interfaces between SAP and external Financial Close, reconciliation, consolidation, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with Finance, SAP, OneStream, Integration, and Automation teams to support the migration of Financial Close processes from BlackLine to OneStream.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues involving SAP Finance, reconciliations, financial data, integrations, close activities, financial controls, and audit support.
- Support improvements and automation of Financial Close processes,



including Close Task Management, approval workflows, exception management, and RPA initiatives where applicable.

Requirements

- 4–8 years of professional experience with SAP FI/CO, including meaningful hands-on experience supporting Financial Close processes.
- Strong knowledge of Month-End Close, with experience or exposure to Quarter-End and Year-End Close, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, intercompany accounting, and variance analysis.
- Hands-on SAP FI experience across key areas such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Financial Closing, Foreign Currency Valuation, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, including a functional understanding of SAP CO and its impact on Financial Close and financial reporting.
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting financial data, interfaces, integrations, reconciliation discrepancies, and dependencies between SAP and external financial systems.
- Strong analytical and collaboration skills within global or multinational environments, with fluent Spanish and advanced/business-level English.

Nice to Have

- Experience with OneStream, BlackLine, or similar Financial Close / Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platforms.
- Previous involvement in a Financial Close transformation, optimization, or system migration project.
- Experience with automation or RPA tools such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere.
- Knowledge of Product Costing and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) within SAP CO.
