Senior AI/ML Full Stack Engineer — Based in Mexico, Relocating to Plano, TX

Location: Plano, TX, USA — Onsite, 5 days/week. Open to candidates currently based in Mexico who are ready to relocate.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity for an engineer to move onsite into one of the most strategic AI engagements in U.S. financial services. You'll join a flagship, high-visibility engagement with one of the largest and most influential financial institutions in the United States, where technology decisions are watched at the executive level.

You'll help build next-generation, AI-powered booking and travel experiences for millions of end users, with ambition and polish comparable to the world's leading consumer travel platforms — part of a CEO-visible program backed by 1,000+ engineers and a dedicated AI practice of 50+ specialists.

Who You Are

Experienced software engineer who has expanded into AI/ML and generative AI while keeping strong production engineering fundamentals.



Comfortable owning solutions end to end — backend and user-facing frontend alike — with professional fluency in English for daily collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders.

What You'll Do

- Design, build, test, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and generative AI applications.
- Develop RAG pipelines (document processing, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, vector storage).
- Build agentic workflows connecting foundation models with enterprise data, APIs, and business processes.
- Build full-stack applications: backend/APIs in Java or Python, frontend in React or Angular.
- Deliver customer-facing features that directly shape the AI-powered booking and travel experience used by millions of consumers.
- Collaborate on cloud deployments, CI/CD, containerization, and production support.
- Implement guardrails, observability, and responsible AI practices.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional software development using Java or Python.
- 2+ years hands-on building and deploying AI/ML or GenAI applications in production.
- 2+ years building frontend interfaces (React/Angular) integrated with backend services.
- Currently based in Mexico and available to relocate to Plano, TX full-time, onsite, five days a week.
- Valid passport and eligibility for U.S. work authorization (TN visa or equivalent).
- Professional fluency in English, written and spoken.
