Job Title: Senior Engineer – ASME

Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico — Onsite

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Note: Candidate will initially need to travel to Daikin Applied in Staunton for 3 months for training.

Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Engineer with hands-on ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code experience and expertise in pressure-containing equipment design, engineering calculations, material selection, drawing review, and code compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Design and analyze pressure-containing equipment.
- Perform engineering design and pressure calculations.
- Apply applicable ASME Code requirements.
- Review engineering drawings and code compliance.
- Support material selection, testing, validation, and certification.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code experience.
- Experience with pressure vessel or pressure-containing equipment design.
- Experience with design calculations and material selection.
- Experience with engineering drawing review and code compliance.
- ASME Section VIII,



HVAC/chiller/refrigeration, boiler, or heat-exchanger experience is preferred.

Work Requirements:

- Onsite position in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico.
- Approximately 3 months of initial training in Staunton, Virginia, is required before transitioning to the Mexico location.
- Candidates must be willing to meet both travel and onsite work requirements.
