Senior Mobile Engineer – iOS & Android

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer with strong experience building production iOS or Android applications. The engineer will work on mobile application development, device-level capabilities, telemetry, enterprise deployment, and production support.

The idóneo candidate should have strong hands-on experience with either iOS or Android and be comfortable expanding their expertise across both platforms.

Responsibilities

- Develop and enhance native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Implement mobile capabilities related to connectivity, device information, application usage, battery, performance, and application health.
- Work with mobile operating-system frameworks, background processing, permissions, and platform restrictions.
- Develop and maintain features involving remote assistance and device interaction.
- Support enterprise application deployment and configuration across mobile platforms.
- Integrate mobile-generated data with backend systems and analytics platforms.
- Help define appropriate data structures and schemas for mobile-generated information.
- Apply privacy-conscious practices when collecting and processing device data.
- Monitor applications in production and handle debugging, crash investigation, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to determine what is technically feasible on each mobile platform.
- Participate in testing, code reviews, debugging, and maintaining existing codebases.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience developing and shipping production mobile applications.




- Strong hands-on experience with iOS/Swift/SwiftUI or Android/Kotlin/Jetpack Compose .
- Willingness and ability to work across both iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience with system-level mobile development beyond UI implementation.
- Experience with background processing, permissions, OS frameworks, app extensions, or foreground services.
- Experience shipping applications through mobile application stores or enterprise distribution channels.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
- Strong understanding of testing, debugging, code reviews, and working with existing/legacy codebases.
- Ability to independently own mobile development and make technical decisions.
- Strong troubleshooting and production-support skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing applications for both iOS and Android.
- Experience with enterprise mobility, device management, or managed mobile applications.
- Knowledge of mobile telemetry, monitoring, and device-management APIs.
- Experience with screen capture or real-time media streaming.
- Experience with endpoint management, monitoring, or IT operations.
- Previous experience in systems administration, managed services, or enterprise IT environments.
