SR. INDIRECT BUYER

Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon (On-site)

Purpose of the Role The Senior Indirect Buyer will be responsible for managing indirect purchasing activities, including MRO and CAPEX categories, ensuring cost competitiveness, supplier performance, and uninterrupted support for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage sourcing and procurement activities for MRO materials and services.
- Lead supplier selection processes, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and contract management.
- Support CAPEX projects from supplier sourcing through equipment acquisition and installation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage factory expense budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.




- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Proven experience in MRO procurement,
- Knowledge of CAPEX purchasing processes, including: Supplier negotiations, Equipment acquisition projects, Cross-functional collaboration with Finance and Operations
- Experience managing plant operational and indirect spend budgets
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience purchasing manufacturing-related materials, preferably welding consumables
- Advanced English proficiency (required)
- Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments
