Detail-oriented Staff Accountant with over 5 years of experience in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L; statements. Highly skilled in supporting internal and external audits, ensuring accurate tax recording, and managing month-end close processes, including monthly accruals. Advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of local and international financial regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Prepare month-end close general ledger journal entries.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, providing explanations and insights to management.
- Record and reconcile inventory transactions in SAP.
- Perform monthly and annual inventory reconciliations.
- Provide inventory-related data and analysis for financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of bank and other balance sheet accounts.
- Support financial close processes (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual), including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts,
and handling accruals.
- General ledger maintenance.
- Perform general month end closing activities for inventory, reserves and accruals. Tasks included but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations and supplemental financial schedules
- Other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and five years of experience.

SKILLS
- Advanced Excel experience, reconciliation of accounts, able to meet tight deadlines. SAP knowledge a plus.
