What you'll do

- Lead commodity strategies, define sourcing approaches, and build supplier panels.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers to support business needs while maintaining supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance, drive corrective actions, and remove underperforming suppliers when necessary.
- Oversee purchasing activities, ensure compliance, and achieve cost reduction targets and key performance indicators.
- Lead RFQs, supplier nominations, and contract negotiations, including payment terms and milestones supporting financial objectives.




- Govern supplier projects to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Drive innovation and technology advancement through supplier partnerships.
- Develop technical expertise in commodities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and plant locations.
- Manage supplier risks, mitigation plans, acquisitions, competitiveness, escalated supplier issues.

What we are looking for

- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a purchasing role in an industrial environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments and automotive supply chains
- Analytical mindset with experience in cost analysis and sourcing decisions
- Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work effectively in general, cross-functional teams
- Proficient English Skills
