Experience: 6–9+ years overall, with 3+ years working on enterprise integration/API initiatives
Role Summary The Technical Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, integration architects, Boomi developers and application teams to analyse integration requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise integration concepts, APIs, data flows, source/target systems, interface specifications and data mapping . The candidate should be technically capable of analysing integration requirements and issues rather than functioning purely as a functional Business Analyst.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of enterprise application and system integration concepts .
- Working knowledge of Boomi AtomSphere and Boomi-based integration patterns.
- Ability to analyse end-to-end integrations involving multiple source and target applications .
- Strong understanding of:
- REST APIs
- SOAP/Web Services
- SFTP/FTP and file-based integrations
- Batch/scheduled integrations
- Real-time/event-driven integration concepts
- Good understanding of common data formats including JSON, XML, CSV and flat files .
- Strong experience with source-to-target data mapping , transformation rules and interface specifications.
- Ability to analyse and document:

- Validation and transformation rules
- Error/exception scenarios
- Reconciliation requirements
- Integration dependencies
- Understanding of authentication and integration security concepts such as OAuth, certificates, API authentication and secure file transfer .
- Ability to work with architects/developers to clarify technical requirements and support solution design.
- Experience supporting integration testing, UAT, defect analysis and production issue investigation .
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
Good to Have
- Hands-on exposure to Boomi development.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations .
- Experience integrating ERP/enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow etc.
- Understanding of EDI/B2B integrations , trading partners and protocols such as AS2.
- Experience with Kafka or other event/message-based architectures.
- Healthcare/financial-services integration experience.
Certifications
Preferred:
- Boomi Associate Integration Developer / equivalent current Boomi certification.
- Boomi Professional Developer certification is an advantage.
Relevant API, cloud or integration architecture certifications are an additional advantage
