Role Description The Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ciudad Apodaca, NLE. This role oversees technical operations, providing guidance and support to teams engaged in testing, certification, and related technical activities.

The Technical

Manager coordinates research and development initiatives, ensures projects are executed on time and to quality standards, and maintains adherence to relevant codes, regulations, and internal procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing technical staff, reviewing and interpreting technical data, resolving complex technical support issues, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

The Technical





Manager also contributes to process improvement, supports customer-facing technical inquiries, and helps align technical work with IAPMO’s safety and quality objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills for interpreting technical data, troubleshooting issues, and supporting informed decision-making.
- Team management and leadership skills to supervise technical staff, delegate responsibilities, and foster productive collaboration.
- Technical support experience in plumbing, mechanical, or related engineering environments, including customer and internal stakeholder support.
- Research and Development (R&D;) background with the ability to drive innovation, validate new methods, and support product or process enhancements.
- Project management skills to plan, prioritize, and oversee multiple technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, or a related technical field; advanced degree or professional certifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of plumbing and mechanical codes, testing and certification processes, and quality assurance practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in en_US, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in laboratory, certification, or regulatory environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ciudad Apodaca, NLE, and collaborate with international teams and clients.
