join us as a diabetes educator and help deliver person‑centred, culturally responsive diabetes support across our communities.

about the role

as a key member of our primary health team, you will:

- deliver high‑quality diabetes education to individuals, families, and groups
- provide outreach services to rural and remote communities
- build strong partnerships with gps, aboriginal health services and other stakeholders
- support clients through coordinated, multidisciplinary care
- mentor students and contribute to best-practice models
- use your expertise to improve accessibility and health outcomes for priority populations

this role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

what you’ll bring

- tertiary qualification in nursing, dietetics, podiatry, pharmacy, or exercise physiology
- graduate certificate in diabetes education (or willingness to obtain)
- adea credentialling (or working towards it)




- strong communication skills with the ability to engage across cultures
- ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- excellent organisational and digital skills
- current driver’s licence

desirable:
experience in rural health, aboriginal and torres strait islander communities, telehealth, health promotion or research.
