Position Summary
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations. The role promotes a strong safety culture and supports the safe execution of all project activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain project HSE plans, procedures, and safety management systems.
Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory HSE requirements.
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety campaigns.
Monitor site activities and conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure safe work practices.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Support Permit-to-Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk management processes.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, statistics, and performance metrics.
Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities.
Provide HSE training, coaching, and guidance to personnel at all levels.
Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and project management on HSE matters.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, Construction, or EPC/EPCI projects.
Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
Experience managing HSE programs in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and management reporting tools.
Excellent English language skills (spoken/written/read).
