Position Summary
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure activities are executed efficiently, resources are optimized, and project milestones are achieved within established timelines. The role works closely with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams to track progress and identify schedule risks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent planning tools.
Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution plans.
Monitor project progress and update schedules based on presente performance.
Analyse schedule performance, critical paths, constraints, and potential delays.
Coordinate with project teams to gather progress data and forecast future activities.
Prepare short-term and long-term look-ahead plans.
Identify schedule risks and propose recovery or mitigation plans.
Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI reports.
Support manpower planning and resource allocation activities.
Monitor project milestones and ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates to management and clients.
Track project deliverables, procurement activities, and construction progress.
Support change management and evaluate schedule impacts resulting from project modifications.
Ensure project controls procedures and reporting requirements are followed.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, Construction, or EPC/EPCI projects.
Experience developing and managing project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
Familiarity with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Strong understanding of project planning methodologies and scheduling principles.
Knowledge of critical path method (CPM), earned value management, and progress measurement.
Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and project controls.
Primavera P6 (highly advantageous).
Strong skills in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel (Advanced level).
Power BI (preferable).
Excellent English language skills (spoken/written/read).
