In this role, you will support and optimize payment operations across Mexico, with a focus on transaction monitoring, operational efficiency, and payment performance.
You will work closely with local third-party payment providers, internal stakeholders across operations and customer service, and customers to ensure seamless payment processes, issue resolution, and regulatory compliance.What you'll be doingSupport end-to-end payment processes, including deposits, withdrawals, refunds, reconciliations, and customer queriesCollaborate with local payment providers and banks to ensure timely resolution of transaction-related issuesMonitor transactions in real time to detect, investigate, and escape suspicious or fraudulent activityAssist in analyzing customer payment behavior and trends to recommend improvements in payment flows and methodsContribute to operational enhancements by documenting workflows, SOPs,



and process improvementsSupport the integration and testing of new payment technologies and solutionsEnsure all payment operations comply with relevant regulations and internal policiesProvide timely support during system downtimes or payment-related incidents to minimize customer impactWhat you'll bringBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)2–3 years of experience in payments, financial operations, or fintech/e-commerce environmentsFluency in EnglishSolid understanding of payment systems, funds flows, and reconciliation processesExperience with payment gateways, PSPs, or transaction monitoring tools is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and with external partnersAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, remote-first environmentWhat's in it for youWe have an office in a prime location within Mexico City!
