About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use): 08 The Team S&P; Global Ratings' Financial Services practice delivers forward-looking credit insights on banks, insurers, and other financial institutions as part of a integral Credit Ratings team of approximately 1,400 analysts across key financial markets worldwide. The team assesses capital strength, funding and liquidity, asset quality, and governance to support rating opinions that markets rely on. Based in Mexico City this role supports surveillance, rating activities, and credit research.

Responsibilities and Impact

This role contributes accurate, timely, and well-structured analysis that informs rating committee decisions and external publications, directly supporting the team's ability to deliver trusted credit insights. Maintain high-quality research and data packs; collect, clean, and validate financial data; and support financial model maintenance, ensuring consistent and decision-ready outputs. Monitor issuer, sector, and market developments, producing concise,



well-sourced summaries that help analysts move faster and support client and market engagement. Contribute to team productivity through reusable templates, checklists, and process improvements, including the responsible use of approved AI tools to reduce rework and improve turnaround time. Apply confidentiality, documentation, and governance standards to all work, ensuring AI-generated outputs are validated, corrected, and appropriately attributed.

What We're Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications
- An S&P; Global employee at this level would typically have 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, accounting, consulting, or large corporations.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and synthesize data into clear, accurate, and structured outputs.
