As a Senior Release Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the release infrastructure that enables engineering teams at LendingClub to deliver mission-critical services reliably and efficiently. You will play a key role in evolving our CI/CD platform, improving automation, and enabling scalable release processes for modern cloud-native applications.
You will work closely with Software Engineering teams to support our bi-weekly production release cycles and day-to-day patch processes, ensuring deployments are reliable, automated, and efficient.
This role requires strong experience with CI/CD systems, Kubernetes (EKS), automation scripting, and build/deployment pipelines for Java and Node.js services. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure fast,
reliable, and secure software delivery.
We operate in a highly collaborative and distributed environment, so candidates must be comfortable working with remote teams across multiple time zones. This position also includes 24/7 on-call responsibilities supporting production release infrastructure, and requires the flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed to support releases, patches, and critical production issues.
You will help shape the strategy and direction of our release infrastructure while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production delivery processes.
