This role will provide the opportunity to work on some of the most innovative and exclusive projects that IKERD are involved with globally. Candidates would need to work 15-30 hours per week. This is for current or soon to be graduating students in a related field. Responsibilities: Learning programs such as Autodesk Civil 3 D, Revit Structure, and Faro Scene Assisting design in drawing production and preparing them for commercial building projects. Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols Learn laser scanning for 3 D model creation of buildings Assisting engineers in research on commercial building projects Produce accurate 2 D drawings, 3 D models Helping to technically deliver CAD/BIM projects in the role of technician Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team Qualities and Skills: Desire to obtain the Certificate of Development in BIM, Part 1 certification () is a plus. Have a working knowledge of 1 of the following disciplines: Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Civil.



Interested in learning about other areas of the building industry beyond the discipline they know. Experience working in the commercial building industry is a plus. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Excellent organizational skills Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to take responsibility in a proactive approach to daily tasks. Flexible attitude Desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013 or higher. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point. Relevant training will be given to suitable candidates.
