SUMMARY Senior Materials/Purchasing SME with extensive expertise in procurement processes, ERP systems, and purchasing operations. Serves as a trusted partner to Buyers by providing guidance on standardized processes, resolving complex operational issues, supporting tool implementation, and driving process standardization, continuous improvement, and cross-site consistency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. Provide operational and system support to Buyers, resolving complex procurement and ERP-related issues. Ensure compliance with standardized purchasing processes, best practices, and workflows. Support supplier management activities, including critical reporting and tool adoption. Lead process mapping, documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify process gaps and implement scalable procurement solutions. Drive UAT, testing, validation, and deployment of new tools and system enhancements. Gather and define business requirements for system and process improvement projects. Develop and deliver training on purchasing processes, tools, and system updates. Collaborate with corporate teams to support competency development and knowledge sharing. Partner with Supply Chain teams to align purchasing activities with demand planning, MRP, BOM structures, lead times, and inventory strategies.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of direct experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Operations. APICS / CPIM or ISM certification is a plus. Functional & Technical Skills: Purchasing & Systems Expertise: Solid understanding of SAP Purchasing modules, PO execution, vendor management, and purchasing system tools. Planning Foundations: Practical understanding of planning basics (Demand, MRP, BOM structure, lead times). Supplier Engagement: Ability to guide Buyers on supplier communication strategies and tool adoption. Nice to Have (Preferred Skills): Basic Programming Knowledge: (VBA, Python, SQL, or general logic) Power BI Experience: End-user proficiency in Power BI to analyze data, interpret dashboards, and leverage reports for decision-making (developer experience is not required, but analytical familiarity is a plus).
