Now Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Cuba/Torreon, NM | 1099 Contract | $50–$55/Hour + Mileage Reimbursement | Up to 84 Hours/Week

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN or LPN to provide individualized, high-quality care to a patient in their home. The nurse will provide care in accordance with the physician-established plan of care while supporting the patient’s safety, comfort, and quality of life.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity offering flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity for consistent hours. Mileage reimbursement is available for eligible work-related travel.

Position Details

RN or LPN position

$50–$55 per hour

Up to 84 hours per week available

12-hour shifts available

Day and night shifts available

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available

Must commit to a minimum of 48+ hours or 4+ shifts per week to qualify

Sign-on bonus paid in installments at 90 and 180 days

Mileage reimbursement available for eligible work-related travel

Care is provided in the patient’s residence

The patient is wheelchair-bound and requires assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers

The patient has 24-hour HHA coverage , so there will always be someone present with the patient

About the Patient
The patient is wheelchair-bound and requires assistance with all ADLs and transfers . This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys providing one-on-one, hands-on care and building a consistent relationship with the patient.

The patient receives 24-hour HHA support , meaning there will always be someone present in the home to assist with the patient’s care and needs.

Execute physician prescribed plans of care.

Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record.

Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies.

Conduct patient assessments, coordination of care.

Perform various activities associated with daily living.

Monitor vitals and GI intake and output.

Assess skin integrity and administer wound care.

Monitor for changes in the patient’s condition such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression.

Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of the patients.

Provide education and training to the patient, their family, and/or the Home Health Aide.

Work with patients to be done one‑on‑one in the patients home to provide for a comfortable environment.

Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants.





Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.

Education, licensing, and certification: graduate of an accredited college or university, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Current CPR certification

TB test and physical examination.

Maintain required insurance.

Good interpersonal skills.

Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients.

Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions.

Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home.

Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end of life care.

1+ years of experience as an RN/LPN in a clinical or home health setting.

Ability to assist with two person assist
