Job Schedule Full time
Responsibilities
Schedule daily work orders for manual machining, CNC machining, wire EDM, grinding, heat‑treating, and die mounting, prioritizing projects accordingly.
Manage the sourcing and procurement of specialty tool steels, raw materials, and standard components (bolts, bushings, springs) in collaboration with the purchasing department.
Monitor and record workshop productivity, machine downtime, and tool‑tracking metrics to identify operational bottlenecks.
Support die testing and first‑piece inspections by organizing programming slots in the production plant, thereby minimizing disruptions to the manufacturing flow.
Maintain historical documentation of tools, change‑over records, and preventive maintenance logs to comply with regulations and facilitate continuous‑improvement audits.
Qualifications
Education:
This position requires, at a minimum, an engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from management teams and clients.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as fundamentals of plane and spatial geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
Ability to interpret diverse instructions presented in writing, orally, via diagrams, or in schedules.
Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 2years of related experience.
