We're hiring: Android Developer, Kotlin & API (100% Remote)
Please note: This position is open only to candidates located in Mexico with advanced conversational English.
Are you an Android Developer who enjoys working where mobile software meets RFID hardware? Join us to build and evolve the Truecount Android handheld application.
Location: 100% Remote (candidates must be based in Mexico)
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
English: Advanced conversational English is a must
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain the Truecount Android handheld app, including inventory, audit, shipment, and RFID scanning modules
- Integrate REST APIs, RFID reader SDKs, and handheld hardware
- Handle data synchronization, device compatibility, and troubleshooting
- Work with RFID antenna reader integration where required, including reader communication, EPC/tag reading,
and sending scan data to Truecount through APIs or connected services
What you'll need (required):
- Kotlin
- Android SDK and Android Studio
- Retrofit / OkHttp
- REST APIs and JSON
- RFID antenna reader SDKs and integration
- Experience with Chainway / Zebra handhelds
- Git and Logcat
- Advanced conversational English
Good to know: Depending on how Truecount communicates with each RFID antenna reader (SDK, LLRP, TCP/IP, or another reader protocol), the exact integration skills may vary.
